Created in 1996, under the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act and the Illinois Municipal Code, IMET was formed to provide Illinois government agencies with safe, liquid, attractive alternatives for investing. IMET offers participants two separate vehicles to meet their investment needs.
IMET Core Fund

- Floating NAV pool designed for funds that may be invested for longer than one year
- Aaa/bf rating from Moody's
- Target portfolio maturity between 1-3 years
- Offers next day liquidity
- No early withdrawal or redemption fees
- *Net annualized rate of return a new investor could earn at current market prices if the securities in the fund are held to maturity. This yield will fluctuate moving forward.
