IMET Core Fund
The IMET Core Fund is designed for public funds that can generally be invested for one year or longer, including core governmental operating funds. There is no minimum investment period and no withdrawal or redemption fees for funds invested for less than one year.
The IMET Core Fund provides next day liquidity; participants are able to redeem investment shares next day as long as IMET is notified by 3:00 PM CT. The Core Fund has a fluctuating net asset value (NAV) and an average portfolio maturity of 1 to 3 years. The Core Fund is invested primarily in U.S. government backed securities (Treasuries and Agencies). Due to its investment policy, objectives and constraints, the IMET Core Fund Series carries the highest rating by Moody's, Aaa/bf.
